We deploy capital across five focused platforms: engineering and manufacturing, waste management and environmental services, regulated care, residential property portfolios, and specialist support services. Each platform targets asset-backed, contracted, or regulated businesses — sectors that behave like infrastructure, not commodity.
 
We are selective about the businesses we acquire and equally selective about the partners we work alongside.

Our approach is deliberate. We run a disciplined deal flow process and decline far more opportunities than we pursue.

Capital is deployed across five focused platforms. Each has a distinct thesis, target profile, and acquisition rationale — and each is run as a standalone mandate with its own deal flow and due diligence process.

⚙️ Engineering & Manufacturing: Asset-backed, succession-driven owner-managed businesses. Structural, precision, and specialist fabrication. Strong lender appetite, multiple exit routes, and highly repeatable deal structures.
🏥 Regulated Care: CQC-regulated supported living and residential care providers. Long-term LA-funded income, freehold property backing, and structural demand that consistently exceeds supply.
🏘️ Residential Property Portfolios: Incorporated HMO, buy-to-let, and serviced accommodation portfolios. Asset-backed lending at 65–75% LTV, direct vendor outreach, and strong yield characteristics in undersupplied markets.
♻️ Waste Management & Environmental: Contracted, licence-protected businesses with route-based recurring revenue. Regulatory moat through Environment Agency permits and Upper Tier carrier registrations.
🔧 Specialist Support Services: Engineering services and compliance FM businesses acquired as bolt-ons to strengthen and extend our operational platforms. Activated post-acquisition, not as standalone targets.

A core principle of our approach is alignment with the owners we acquire from — whether that is a retiring business founder, a portfolio landlord, or a family-owned operator.
 
Capital is deployed to support:

  • Long-term stewardship of the businesses and assets we acquire
  • Fair, structured consideration for sellers — including deferred and vendor-supported arrangements where appropriate

Working with KPD Group

Models
We work with a small number of aligned capital partners who share our values and investment horizon. We are not seeking retail investment and do not work with short-term or purely financially motivated capital.
Partners typically bring one or more of the following:
  • Equity co-investment alongside KPD at deal or platform level
  • Asset-backed lending capacity at SPV or HoldCo level
  • Sector-specific operational expertise that strengthens a platform
  • Long-term patient capital aligned to our ownership horizon
 
Investor relationships are built over time, based on shared values, clear expectations, and direct communication.
